waste-segregate

Segregation is simple but difficult to maintain. This difficulty we can overcome by practice.

As we learned many things in our life by good practice, like brushing, bathing, washing clothes, cooking and so many more that are required in our daily life to just live, in the same way segregation of waste is important to adapt in our life, to live better present and allow a better future.
The process of waste segregation, collection, treatment and disposal is necessary for a clean and healthy environment.
The awareness and education regarding safe waste disposal methods are missing in our society, it is why people need to be instructed and trained regarding segregation.

Please join hands to make superior future with segregation of waste:
Four different types of waste

  1. Wet waste – waste food, left food, waste raw vegetables, waste fruits, meat/fish waste, etc.. – that can be composted
  2. Dry waste – clothes, cans, glass bottles, paper, plastic bottles, plastic cans, tetra pack, milk/curd/oil packets, plastic carry bags and plastic articles, waste metallic articles. etc.. – that can be recycled
  3. E-waste – computers parts, mobiles, wires, batteries, adapters , chargers, bulbs, memory cards, USB drive, CD’s. etc.. that can be recycled
  4. Sanitary waste – hair, nails, napkins, sanitary napkins, diapers, tissue papers, syringes, expired medicine etc…   that can NOT be composted nor recycled

Major requirements for segregation apart from training:

  1. Collection point dedicated to 5/10/15/… houses
  2. Collection system: human resources and transport facilities
  3. Sheds or fields for further management of dry and e-waste & human resource
  4. Landfills: specially for sanitary and wet waste management.
